Dog Friendly

House Trained

We know that Billy is friendly with other dogs but we are looking for a dog-free home for him because he has fallen out with a doggy housemate in the past when he was living with other male dogs and a bitch who was in season. Not really his fault, poor boy :(

Our volunteers took Billy for a special day trip out and this is what they said about him....
"Billy is an angel! He’s stunning and an absolute joy to walk. I’ve never felt so relaxed and calm walking a dog before. He’s keen, alert and fascinated by everything around him. Listening to the sounds of the trees rustling, the river flowing, critters and other walkers out for a stroll. At times he will stop and listen for a moment, taking in his surroundings and just enjoying it. He takes his time trotting around, waiting at times coming to your side then walking on as if checking you’re keeping up. He doesn’t pull or strain on the leash, even when dogs pass he casually continues on his way, giving the lucky few a polite hello. He's well mannered in the car boot just as when he’s out. He will sit for a treat and wait before jumping out the boot ... then wait for you to be ready to go. Such a sweet and well behaved lad, I can’t wait for the day he finds his forever home. He really deserves it! "

Billy will need and adult only home because he is nervous and potentially reactive around children. Thank you
