Description

Saffi is a happy, playful girl, with a delightful character - she's captured our hearts, so you can understand why we're all confused that she has waited so long for a home - she's had no interest at all. Poor girl.

Saffi is a leggy Staffy type, she's underweight at the moment - we are working on bringing her up to her target weight. She will probably gain weight nicely once she's settled in her own relaxing home. In spite of her slender physique, Saffi loves her treats, including dog friendly peanut butter - you'll spot that in her photos!

Saffi loves her toys, she's always desperate to get out into the yard to play with her Boomer Ball - she skillfully plays with two at the same time!  All toys get an outing with Saffi, she loves chasing tennis balls and tugging with you on rope toys.

She's great on a walk, she pulls initially like most of the dogs do, eager to get going, but then she walks lovely. Passes dogs fairly close and doesn't bother but she is not dog friendly so she won't be able to socialise or share her home with another dog. Saffi wears a muzzle whilst she's out with our volunteers, this is just to be on the safe side. She's comfortable wearing the muzzle.

All the volunteers say how lovely she is, she's a popular girl here at HH HQ. Saffi is not too boisterous and no trouble to walk. If you sit down on a bench, she will just chill and enjoy a stroke - paws up on your knee for a minute.  She doesn't really crave affection, she's not a 'sit on your knee and give you a million kisses' kind of Staffy.

Saffi is so desperate to be out of her kennel and spend time playing in the yard, she gets frustrated when it's the turn of one of the other dogs that she chews on the kennel bars and whines. She's getting frustrated and really needs the special attention she will only get in her own home.

Saffi has not been tested with cats, so we're looking for a pet free home for her, where she can relax and blossom, thank you.

To adopt Saffi, please complete our online adoption application form and we will be in touch. We welcome applications from Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Thank you
