Description

Shambles is a friendly, affectionate and happy lad, looking for his forever home

Shambles is a playful boy who is super keen and playful with a range of toys, either by himself or with his humans. Shambles isn’t getting out on walks very often and although he is happy to go for walks on the lead, he’s a bit overactive as a result and he is pulling on the lead, which is understandable. He is barky when he’s near other dogs but he does have a Staffy play friend so perhaps he would benefit from more opportunities to socialise and interact calmly. He loves attention from people he meets on walks.

Shambles is trained to go to the toilet on puppy pads in the house, so we ask that his new owner is understanding and patient with his toilet training outside the house. Shambles does get stressed when he is left home on his own, so he would be most suited to a family where someone is home for the majority of the time. Shambles has started to nip his owner to get her attention and is getting a bit demanding – he will need a good routine of exercise, play and training in order to burn off some steam and provide enough mental stimulation that he doesn’t feel the need to become bossy.

Shambles has some basic training - he knows how to a nice ‘sit’, ‘paw’, ‘wait’ (for food) and ‘leave’. He enjoys his treats and gobbles them up quickly! Shambles can be anxious with loud noises such as fireworks and other banging.
