Lucky is in need of a new home due to a change in her owner's circumstances.

Lucky is an older lady but she's still full of fun and has energy to go on good walks every day. She gets very excited about toys - she isn't fussy about what toy, she'll happily invent games with whatever is offered. She likes to tease and keep the toy for herself, egging you into her game!

At home, Lucky likes to give a few barks when someone first arrives at the house - she's curious and greets visitors happily and politely with a waggy tail. She's a gentle girl and enjoys being close-by with strokes and contact, but she doesn't push for attention.

On walks, Lucky trots along really nicely on the lead once she gets over her initial excitement and barking spree! This only lasts for a minute but she is quite vocal! Lucky meets and greets other dogs nicely, she looks like she would like to play if she was given the chance but she's also happy to walk away and follow her human company. We're told that Lucky loves to swim, especially if she's got a toy or stick to chase. Nothing seems to phase Lucky whilst out and about - she's a very laid back girl.

Lucky travels well in a vehicle, she lies down and settles very quickly. At her first vet visit, she waited very patiently to be seen, just watching the other pets and people. She was nervous when meeting the vet but behaved politely and didn't make a big fuss.

Lucky is house trained and she is well behaved around food. She knows not to ask for human food and will lie down when told. Lucky's owner has said that she is good around children as well as grown ups but we haven't seen Lucky interact with children yet.
