Your Domain Name Description

Jackson is a friendly, playful boy. He needs a home where he'll get plenty of play time to burn off some energy and daily walks to keep him fit. He's just a young lad who would love a garden to play in and his own special someone to have cuddles with.

Initially, Jackson was very challenging to walk, as he would become overexcited with the noises and smells in the outside world, but he's improved tremendously and is now manageable to walk. He would benefit from a strong, consistent and confident owner to continue his walking training. Jackson's got the potential to be a great dog for a family who have time to give him the attention and training he yearns for - he's so eager to please and enjoys learning new tricks.

Jackson has made a big splash with our volunteers who have completely fallen in love with him! This is what one says about Jackson....

.... he's my favourite dog with us at the moment. He’s quite a big dog who has never had any training - he's very excitable and full of energy especially when getting him out of the kennel (which is understandable).

He is just getting to know he has been named Jackson as he sometimes responds to it. He can now fetch a ball back and drop it in the play area. Jackson used to jump up and grab for a treat but now will take it gently - there is real hope for his training to improve. Jackson is scared to get in the car, he needs to be lifted in, but once he's in, he travels well. Jackson is a very friendly friendly boy . His new owner will need patience to work through his puppy ways and basic training but once he has some grounding, he will make a really lovely pet. I love him."

Another adoring volunteer adds.... "Jackson has such an expressive face you can practically see him thinking “pick me to walk,  pick me, pick me” when you walk through the kennels! He is so happy to be out and about. I talk to him all the way on our walks and he turns to listen, wags his tail, as if to agree with whatever rubbish I’m talking! With exercise and attention he will be the most devoted lovable friend you could wish for."
