*** Chunk is now RESERVED. We are no longer accepting applications for Chunk. Thank you ***

Chunk is currently living with one of our amazing foster families. This is what Chunk’s foster carer says about him …

“Chunk has settled in straight away, no crying or barking, he’s a very calm boy. We quickly introduced him to one of our other dogs and he has been brilliant. He growls at the large male dog (Husky) but when we tell him to stop, he does.

Chunk is brilliant around food. He isn’t interested in toys or balls – we bought him some toys and he hasn’t played or shown any interest in them yet. He will sit when he wants and gives a paw. Chunk’s is very clean in the kennel area -he won’t wee or poo in there, so we let him out every hour ish for the toilet.

Fireworks have been going off recently and he doesn’t bother he just lays in his bed asleep. Although if you do move quickly round him he does sort of duck down as if to expect to be hit, so sad. Chink’s is on medication for a skin condition, and also on steroids, he’s booked into the vet for a follow up appointment in two weeks.

If we call “Chunky Bum”, he comes trotting down from the end of the garden, it’s so funny, and he comes to your feet and shakes his bum!

Chunk absolutely loves travelling in the car – he’s been to Liverpool and Manchester with us and he sits in the crate watching the world go by.

To adopt Chunk, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield.
