Max and Lola need their forever home due to a change in her owners living arrangements. We would love to find these two a home where they can stay together. They are used to living with other dogs, so multiple dog households can apply! Max and Lola live with children in a busy household. They are both rescue dogs from Spain who are now living in Lancashire.
Max is a 7 year old Labrador cross. He suffers from Leish Mania (parasite disease) which is lying dormant and is not contagious. When he visited the vets last, they could not find any trace of it, but his owners are keeping him on the medication, just in case. The tablets cost approximately £30 for a 5 month supply. Otherwise, Max is in good health. Max walks well on a lead and he constantly carries a ball in his mouth.
Max sleeps with Lola and another family dog, in the kitchen at night. Max is fine with new people but he will bark at large dogs when out on his walks. He can be nervous of loud noises. He’s good in the car and he is house trained.
Lola is a medium sized cross breed, who was found left by a bin in Spain. She is approximately 4 years old and has lived with the family since she was a puppy. Lola is house trained.
Lola isn’t phased by other dogs when out on walks but she can be a timid girl. Lola is great with the family kids.
Both Max and Lola are neutered, fully vaccinated and have pet passports.
To adopt Max and Lola, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.
