***Bonnie is now RESERVED. We are no longer accepting applications for Bonnie, thank you***
Bonnie is living with one of our amazing foster carers. This is how they describe Bonnie…
“Beautiful Bonnie is the biggest cuddle monster you’ve ever met. She wants nothing more than to be loved. She loves cuddles from anyone who will give them, even tiny cuddles from tiny humans!
We think Bonnie could possibly live with other animals (cats and dogs) as she has shown no interest in them when she’s seen them however any family pet would need to be introduced carefully and properly. Bonnie is a sensitive soul who can be nervous around loud noises and new things. She has only been with Homeless Hounds a short time and we hope her confidence will improve with time with plenty of reassurance
She isn’t very keen on her walks at the moment or generally being outside. This made her house training more challenging but she is now completely house trained. This training may need revisiting when Bonnie moves to her forever home.
Bonnie is a not a dog that will go hiking with you on the weekend, she will tolerate a walk at best. She doesn’t react to traffic etc. when she’s out and about she’s more interested in looking for the quickest route home so she can get back to her life of luxury. When she is home she spends most her time cuddled up sleeping however she occasionally catches a case of the zoomies and has a giddy five minutes.
Bonnie may need to take steroids and this will be an ongoing commitment for her new family. This is currently under vet review.
This girl has a big heart and plenty of personality, she’s will make a great family member for anyone wanting a slightly oversized lap dog!”
To adopt Bonnie, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies. Thank you
