***Brigadeer is now RESERVED. We are no longer accepting applications for Brig, thank you***
Brigadeer is in need of his forever home due to a change in his family’s circumstances.
Brig is a very affection and playful dog and always needs plenty of attention. He loves small rubber balls and tends to tease you constantly by playfully nudging your feet with the ball in his mouth and also loves a good tug of war. He loves to be groomed and also to lie on his back paws in the air and having his belly tickled.
Brig is very strong on the lead and requires consistent training to help him understand that walking nicely will still get him where he wants to go. He is good with other dogs when out walking unless they show him any aggression or start barking at him and then he will do the same back.
Brig barks when anyone comes near the front door – a good alarm bell! He is good with visitors, even when workmen are in the house he is fine and seeks attention from them.
Brig is a very clean dog and fully house trained, he never ever even has so much as a wee when out on walks and always waits until he gets back home and in the Garden. Brig sleeps in the kitchen but would prefer to sleep as close as possible to you, given the choice, this would be at the side of your bed. He can open doors so you may need to put locks on some doors for safety, or to stop him sneaking upstairs at night!
Brig is fine around new people and children. For Brig to flourish and reach his potential, he needs a good home with a someone willing to commit to lead training with time spare to give him the attention he deserves. A garden is essential for Brigadeer.
