*** Charlie is now RESERVED. We are no longer accepting applications for Charlie, thank you***

Charlie is looking for a new home due to a change in his family’s circumstances.

Charlie’s owner describes him as an affectionate and cuddly boy who also has an excitable and giddy side to his personality. He enjoys playing with his owners and with visitors, his favourite toy being tennis balls.

He’s a good boy on walks – he currently stays on his lead and even though he’s excited initially, he soon calms down. Charlie doesn’t show any interest in the dogs that he meets on walks – he has never lived with another dog so we can’t judge how he would be in that situation.

Charlie understands the basic commands of ‘sit’, ‘stay’ and ‘lie down’. He’s a well behaved boy around food. Charlie does get over excited when travelling in the car and he will have a brief bark at the postman and any cats who wander near the house! Charlie is used to being given baths and he can be left home alone for a couple of hours without any known issues.

Charlie has never lived with children but has spent time around the owner’s grandchildren and is friendly with them.

To adopt Charlie, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies. Thank you
