Chester is a typical Staffy – full of life and energy. He is in need of a new home due to a change in the family circumstances; this is a very reluctant rehome.
Chester currently lives with a younger child and has a fantastic relationship with him, they love snuggling together on the sofa and they’re best of pals. Whilst he owner is at work, Chester will settle nicely, only chewing the least expected item on occasion – a receipt or piece or paper left on the side or the odd toilet roll – he’s never chewed anything more significant.
Chester is selective with other dogs, although he does have a few friends, whom he walks with regularly. He doesn’t always know his limits and can be full on with other dogs. He barks at passing dogs and his owner isn’t sure if he’s being protective, curious or whether he just isn’t keen.
Chester is in general good health. He does have seasonal alopecia, whereby some hair falls out, but it does come back eventually. An allergy test may show up some clues as to why this happens – worth considering for his future.
To adopt Chester, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.
