Ernie is currently living with one of our amazing foster carers. This is how they describe Ernie…
“When Ernie arrived with us he was extremely malnourished, he’s looking much better now and has started his course of vaccinations.
Ernie is such a lovely boy, mostly good as gold. He has never messed in the house. Loves to have a mad 5 minutes chasing around with his toy! Ernie is no problem being left home alone, also very good in the car – he lies on the back seat, no hassle at all.
Ernie is really good to walk on lead, he doesn’t pull at all. We usually do two walks a day, first thing in morning then teatime, between 1 and 2 miles. Sometimes we meet friends and their dogs when he is really good. However does tend to lunge and bark at other dogs he doesn’t know, especially small dogs but he does settle down once he gets to know them.
Ernie hates cats!
Ernie doesn’t bother me whilst I’m eating, and he has three meals a day – he’s a polite eater not a guzzler!
He is the most affectionate dog, loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa. Ernie is an amazing dog in the home. All in all, Ernie is a great companion!”
