JJ is a gorgeous boy who’s as cute as a button, but has his quirks! We’re looking for a home where his family are committed to seeking advice from a trainer and prepared to work with the issues he has regarding resource guarding. We know that JJ can be possessive around toys, food and family members, and he has bitten in these situations. A good trainer will be able to give you guidance on how to work with JJ to help him feel relaxed and remove his need to guard things.

JJ loves his adventures almost as much as he loves chicken! He is well behaved in the car and walks well on his lead  but he will pull towards other dogs when he spots them.

JJ needs an adult only home with consistent positive based training. He needs plenty of time to settle in and learn to trust – personal space and patience are key. We know that JJ will make a great companion for someone willing to put the time in and give him the chance and love he deserves.

To adopt JJ, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies. Thank you
