*** Marley is now RESERVED. We are no longer accepting applications for Marley. Thank you ***

Marley is currently living in one of our amazing foster homes. This is how his foster carer describes him …

“Marley is a gentle happy chap that wants nothing more than to love and be loved. He spends most of his days cuddled up snoozing or sunbathing.

Marley is well trained understanding commands, house trained and sleeps through the night without any fuss. He is always super happy to see you in the morning and waits patiently wagging for his breakfast.

As Marley loves to be around people he is more suited to someone who will we be around for him most of the day. Whilst in foster Marley has been left alone for up to three hours without any problems. He is very excited to see you when you come through the door.

Marley is a laid back boy and is not interested in toys or playing, he’d much rather have a cuddle and a biscuit! Despite his age and calm nature Marley does love going on a walk. He is happy with around 30 minutes to an hour a day however would not be suited to very long walks

Marley loves the attention and is very sociable, he had greeted all new people with a smile and wagging tail. Marley has not been exposed to children whilst in foster however we cannot see any reason why he would be any different.

On walks Marley has seen plenty of dogs and either ignores them or says a quick friendly hello with no signs of aggression. Marley has barked at a few dogs whilst out (particularly short nosed breeds such as pugs and French bulldogs!)

Marley is quiet and easy going, he doesn’t even mind a bath or the vets! He would fit right into any home willing to give him plenty of love and treats”

To adopt Marley, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield.
