*** Missy is now RESERVED. We are no linger accepting applications for Missy, thank you ***

Missy is living in one of our wonderful foster homes. This is how her foster carer describers her…

“Missy is a 4 year old bulldog . She currently lives with a 10 yr old child and 2 other dogs plus multiple others that come and stay .

She is great with everything and everyone . She is a very sweet girl . She Doesn’t bother with cats and wants to play with other dogs , most of who seem scared of her but she tries anyway!
She is house trained but will have an accident overnight . I either leave the door open for her or put a towel down and she will wee on that.
Since being with us, Missy has lost over 4kg. A strict diet will still need to be followed as to ensure this is not go back on as she will eat whatever she can.
She needs daily cleaning round her nose, eyes and ears. Every time she goes to the toilet she needs her bottom cleaning as well . So would not suit a home who isn’t bothered about lots of poop!
Missy has epilepsy, and,  after investigation it has been found that she will be on medication for life. At present the cost of this is approx £180 a month. We have started trying to reduce the meds slowly until we can get it to a level where she won’t have any fits . She will also need blood tests every few months to check her liver function.
In a few weeks she will be having an operation to help her breathe better . She loves her walks,  and has been doing an hour in the morning and afternoon quite often . However, sometimes she decides she just doesn’t want to go out and won’t walk .
She would suit a home where there are other dogs as she has always lived with another  . She can be left for short periods and just loves to be with you. In true Bulldog style she snores very loudly so be prepared to turn the TV up loud!”

Please consider Missy’s medical requirements carefully before submitting your application.
