*** Princess is now RESERVED. Wea are no longer accepting applications for Princess, thank you ***
Princess is living with one of our amazing foster carers. This is what Princess’ fosterer says about her…
“Princess is a friendly and well behaved young dog who has stayed with us as a foster whilst her forever home is found.
She is house trained and knows basic commands (sit, paw, lie) however her recall when outside needs work (we tried on a trainer leash and she completely ignored us!) and she pulls very hard when in the lead. She will need a significant amount of consistent training in this area.
Princess rarely barks, she sleeps through the night and is great with kids, although she jumps up a lot and would be better suited to older children who won’t be knocked over in her excitement. All interactions with other dogs have gone well, but she is definitely a ‘people’ dog and doesn’t like Jack Russell’s very much.
We’ve loved having Princess staying with us. She has endless energy, loves playing ball and tug of war games. She needs a garden as she gets the zoomies and at least 2 , better 3 walks a day.
Crossed with a Dalmatian and Lurcher she was surrendered and has not spent any significant time in kennels. She has been initially sleeping in a crate though has moved into a normal dog bed now and has been left to wander the house whilst we have been out for short times and she has not caused any issues at any point.”
To adopt Princess, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies. Thank you
