Reggie is a large Staffy cross, a young adult boy at just 3 years old. He is loving, and lively, and loves sausages!
It appears that Reggie is dog friendly but we’d like to find him a home where he is the only dog and can enjoy the full attention of his new people. We think his stunning colour and bright eyes make him look very handsome.
Reggie’s a lovely boy who needs to learn some manners and how to calm down a little. He’ll probably improve once he’s away from the stress of the kennel environment and has consistency with routine, walks and training but at the moment he does jump up and chew his lead …. it’s all excitement though, there’s no malice in this lad. It appears that he hasn’t had the benefit of much training or boundaries in his past life, so we’d love to see Reggie’s new family work with him to hone his basic skills. Reggie already knows ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ and chatters his teeth if you make him wait too long for a treat!
Reggie isn’t super keen on car travel and we recommend a good dog crate or dog guard – he does calm down after 10 minutes or so and is quiet and still. He’s a very strong boy who ideally needs an owner with large breed or bully breed experience. Reggie will make a great companion for someone who loves him as much as he loves us!
To adopt Reggie, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield.
