***Samson is now RESERVED. We are no longer accepting applications for Samson, thank you***

Samson is new to Homeless Hounds and this lucky boy is being spoilt rotten in his foster home. He is living with ex HH dog Ebony.

This is what his foster mummy has to say about him.

Samson is absolutely wonderful house guest. He’s very cuddly and loving. Not a massive walk lover, not too long walks anyways, maybe he will one day. On longer walk he just rubs against my legs and looks at me as he had enough of exploring. However, when he is in the grass, he like a good backwards scratch and leaves his mark.

We have pet rats in the home and Samson is very interested in them. When Samson first came into our home he would try and get to the rats and our dog Ebony intervened, which he did not like. Samson is learning to live with the rats, he will just stand at their cage and watch them.

Samson has come on leaps and bounds since being in foster. He will now sit and wait for his food instead of barging in there. Also he is house trained and will wait at the back door to let you know he needs to go out.

He will “sit up” like circus animal and lifts his big paws for cuddles. He’s is THE cuddliest dog I’ve ever known.

Although Samson is dog friendly he doesn’t seem to get along with small animals. He would benefit from a dog of equal size or bigger to live with.

To adopt Samson, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.

Thank you
