*** Vinnie is now RESERVED. We are no longer accepting applications for Vinnie, thank you ***
Vinnie is currently living with one of our amazing foster carers. This is how he describes Vinnie …
…” Vinnie is a big lad, about 40Kg (6+ stones) and full of energy when out on his walks. Vinny loves his walks and is well behaved, with a slack lead most of the time. When Vinnie sees other dogs at a distance he shows no interest in them, and when close up he is well behaved.
Vinnie loves cuddles. If you sit down he will come to you seeking attention. He enjoys playing with toys and will drop the toy at your feet.
Vinnie does not show any interest in cats, so it’s possible that he could share his home with a cat, with slow and careful introductions.
Vinnie is fully housetrained.
Probably due to his history, Vinnie does not like to be left alone, and he will bark. He has been introduced to a crate and will eat his food in there, but is not comfortable with the door closed. Again due to his history, Vinnie is not comfortable meeting people, however after a few minutes of reassurance, and crouching down, he will be your best friend.”
To adopt Vinnie, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.
