Homeless Hounds – Dogs in Need

Amber is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment and is currently living with one of our lovely fosterers and her dogs. She may be small but she is a pocket rocket and lives her life at 90 miles an hour! She is an absolute bundle of energy and is constantly on the go.

She absolutely loves her walks and exploring her surroundings but at the same time walks very well on the lead. She loves a game of fetch and her foster mum finds that this burns off some of her energy as her resident dogs struggle to keep up with Amber’s energy levels! She’s great with other dogs both large and small and is not at all reactive when out on her walks.

Amber’s energy levels are such that she would benefit from living with another dog with a compatible level of energy. She would also like an owner who would not leave her more than a couple of hours as otherwise boredom will set in. She can be very excitable at times but will calm down after a while.

At the same time she likes having some down time and can be a real lap dog when she wants to be. She’s a very obedient girl and loves to please her human. She knows a number of commands and is very responsive to instructions

To adopt Amber, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.
