Barbie is new to Homeless Hounds and still under assessment. You can submit your application to adopt Barbie but please be aware that at this stage we don’t know what type of home she will require.
Barbie is a lovely lady whose been friendly and affectionate with everyone she’s met at Homeless Hounds. We don’t have an exact age for her but she appears to be an older dog possibly around 8 years old.
She’s going to make a great companion for anyone wanting to cuddle her 24/7. She is a real softie and would happily lie at your feet or with her head on your knee for hours. She has her giddy moments, when she first gets out the kennel and into our enclosed play area for some off-lead time she has major zoomies for about 10 minutes. After that she’ll settle down for some cuddles and a treat. She particularly loves our ball pit and will play peekaboo with you to chase her. She walks lovely on her lead and is dog-friendly.
Barbie is not cat-friendly and she cannot live with any small furries.
Everyone who meets Barbie falls for her charm and her little kisses, she’s laid back, loving and an all round great dog. She travels well in the car, you don’t know you’ve got her.
Although we can’t tell you that she is house trained, due to her being at the kennels since arriving at Homeless Hounds. What we can tell you is that she is clean in her kennel and that she will wait till she is out on her walk before she goes to the toilet.
To adopt Barbie, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.
