Frankie

Frankie is new to Homeless Hounds & has bagged himself a lovely foster home with one of our volunteers.

This is what Frankie’s foster mummy has to say about him:

Frankie is approximately 3 years old and has settled well in his foster home with a resident dog. He does bark when he first meets people but soon settles down. He enjoys company, whether with humans or another dog. He has a lovely personality & likes nothing better than a good scratch or a head massage, or just a hand on his back as he falls asleep.

Frankie happily goes in to his cage when he’s left at home alone, or at bedtime where he sleeps all night. He’s house trained & knows some basic commands. He loves food and will eat anything that is dropped! He’s settled in to our routine quickly showing us he’s a clever boy so his love of treats & food will help with further training.

He loves his walks & is great on a lead, sometimes he pulls with excitement but will settle down.

Frankie would benefit from living with another playful dog, or a family who would give him lots of attention & adventures.
