***Harry is now RESERVED, we are no longer accepting applications, thank you***

Harry is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment. You can still submit your application to adopt Harry but please be aware that at this stage, we don’t know what type of home he will require.

Harry is a handsome black Labrador cross estimated to be around 18 months to 2 years old. Harry is currently under assessment and but this is what we know about him so far. Harry is a gentle boy and is understandably feeling a little unsure at the moment. He knows some commands and takes treats very gently. He is a big boy and when excited may jump up and could knock small children over – for this reason we would be looking for a home where any resident children would be 12 years old or older. Harry is a strong boy and does pull on the lead. However, when walked on a comfy double ringed fleece harness with a double clip lead, he walks very nicely. Harry so far appears to be dog friendly and has shown little reaction to the other dogs in kennels.

However, this will be subject to further assessment. Harry is very responsive to the human voice and is very eager to please his human. We think that he will be very responsive to reward led training and will make a wonderful pet. Whilst applications are welcome for Harry, applicants should please note that the assessment to date will be reviewed and may be subject to change.

To adopt Harry, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.

Thank you
