Harry

Harry has been with us for a few months, and he previously spent time in a home but has been returned through no fault of his own.

Harry is a handsome black Labrador cross estimated to be around 18 months to 2 years old. Harry is currently under assessment and but this is what we know about him so far. Harry is a gentle boy and is understandably feeling a little unsure at the moment. He knows some commands and takes treats very gently. He is a big boy and when excited may jump up and could knock small children over – for this reason we would be looking for a home where any resident children would be 12 years old or older. Harry is a strong boy and does pull on the lead. However, when walked on a comfy double ringed fleece harness with a double clip lead, he walks very nicely. Harry so far appears to be dog friendly and has shown little reaction to the other dogs in kennels.

However, this will be subject to further assessment. Harry is very responsive to the human voice and is very eager to please his human. We think that he will be very responsive to reward led training and will make a wonderful pet. Whilst applications are welcome for Harry, applicants should please note that the assessment to date will be reviewed and may be subject to change.
