Lucy

Lucy is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment. You can still apply for this beautiful girl but be aware at this stage we don’t know what type of home she will require.

Our information is limited, but Lucy is a big, strong and lovely girl who is coming out of her shell each day.

While in the kennels she can be reactive and bark at other dogs who pass her, and she is becoming reactive to certain dogs on her walks. Lucy can be frustrated in the kennel environment and acts differently when she is out of the kennels.

She loves going in the play area and stretching her legs chasing after her toys and could literally play for hours. Lucy doesn’t like loud, sudden noises which startles her and makes her anxious.

Lucy is very strong on the lead and will need an owner who can mange her and teach her manners and how to walk nicely. She knows basic commands and is still to master giving her paw, but she will get there!

Lucy has lots of potential, and she just needs time and patience from her future owner to bring the best out of her.

As we get to know Lucy we will update the website with more information. Thank you.
