Otis

Otis is new to Homeless Hounds and this lucky boy has gone straight into foster with one of our amazing volunteers.

Ball obsessed Otis is a one year old very lively springer spaniel, who is a pleasure to be around. He is constantly playing, searching and sniffing. He is never still until he goes to bed. While in his foster home Otis just wants to play either with our dog or on his own.

Otis has some recall but this requires some work. He is house trained and knows basic command sit, stay, paw. He is good to walk on the lead, with the occasional lunge at moving leaves. His foster family has rabbits and he is interested in them but will walk past their cage when asked.

Otis would benefit from agility classes to keep his active mind and body on the go!

Although Otis is dog friendly it has been known for him to be too much for another dog unless they are a very active breed. He can either be rehomed as the only pet or with another active dog to keep him company. He has a lot of potential and would thrive with an active family or individual who can give him all the attention that he requires.

Unfortunately Otis can’t be rehomed where there are any young children in the home. Only families with older children aged 12 and over, thank you.
