Princess Coco

***Princess Coco is now RESERVED. We are no longer accepting applications for Coco, thank you***

Princess Coco is currently living with one of our amazing foster carers, this is how Coco’s foster carer describes her…

…”Coco is a 3 year old female French Bulldog crossed with a Dogue De Bordeaux. Basically she’s a large French Bulldog.

Coco has a lovely temperament, very gentle and loving, and will happily let you stroke her all day. If you sit down she will want to sit at your feet.

Coco is very intelligent and responds to some basic commands, ‘sit’, ‘paw’, ‘gently’. She’s hit and miss with toys – she will play initially, then ignore the toy.

Coco loves meeting people of all ages, including children. She loves her walks and likes to be in front pulling gently – she needs reminding to ‘heel’.

When Coco sees other dogs she sometimes gets excited, but when she gets chance to meet them she is friendly.

Probably due to her history, Coco does not like to be left alone, and will yelp and cry, this is improving, but it would be best for her not to be left alone too much. Coco is fully house trained.”

Princess Coco travels well in the car, jumps in by herself. Princess Coco is not overly keen on having a shower but she tolerated it. She hates the hairdryer though.

We will consider homes with calm, older children who are dog savvy.

To adopt Princess Coco, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies. Thank you
