Rocco 2 is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment. You can still submit your application to adopt Rocco 2 but please be aware that at this stage, we don’t know what type of home he will require.
Rocco has already been described as a total sweetheart by one of our lovely volunteers. He has quickly become a firm favourite with the volunteer dog walkers because of his happy gentle nature.
He is always so incredibly pleased to have human company and to receive lots of attention. He loves cuddles and will stop his walks to lean into his human to be stroked. At 12-18 months old he’s only a youngster and with his happy eager to please nature should be really easy to train.
He enjoys his walks and whilst he initially pulls on the lead he soon settles down and walks very well. Rocco is dog friendly, and good when out with both small and large dogs. However, at present, he has a tendency to get over familiar and very amorous towards some female dogs who find his attentions rather annoying!
Rocco has only recently been neutered and given time it is likely this will help to dampen his ardour! He’s also quite clumsy when playing with other dogs and doesn’t realise his own strength! Therefore we think he is best in a home where any resident dogs were of a similar size.

To adopt Rocco, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.
