Walter’s a very friendly and cuddly boy, a really lovable lad. He’s very interested in food and will scavenge around the house for food, hopefully, with regular mealtime routines and a full tummy, Walter will understand that food will always come his way.
Walter is dog friendly out and about on walks but probably cannot share his home with one. We are looking for a dog-free home for Walter. But he could share his home with cats, with all the usual steady introductions over a period of several weeks. Walter is house trained.
He trots around nicely on an extendable lead but pulls very hard when he’s on a short lead or when he’s excited to get somewhere.
Walter has reduced muscle coverage on one of his back legs and our vet has said that he requires an operation to repair a tendon. He doesn’t appear to be in any pain but we still want to get this issue resolved for him. Homeless Hounds will ensure that his vet bill is covered, so now he just needs an amazing family who will be there to help him recover and enjoy the rest of his life together.
To adopt Walter, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.
