Winston is new to Homeless Hounds and is under assessment. He has landed on his paws and has gone straight into a foster home and this is what his fosterer has to say about Winston:

Winston is 7 years old. He has settled in ever so well with his foster family. Winston is house trained and has not had one accident since being with us. We just ask if he wants to go out and off he trots. Winston sleeps through the night and so well on his own downstairs (we decided we would try something different with this foster baby) when he first arrived he whimpered for no more than 5 minutes and went off to sleep. Now he fully knows his routine.

Winston is brilliant around our 8 year old son and cuddles up with him on the sofa. He really is such a gentle soul and will make a lovely addition to any family. He really does have lots of licks for his Foster Daddy. Winston know basic commands such as sit and takes treats from you very gently. When out on walks he is not phased by other dogs, he has a look and walks on by. Winston is a little strong on the lead but we are currently in training with him.

Winston would benefit from being an only dog and would be better around no furry animals and cats. Winston can be the typical stubborn staffie but overall he will always do as his told. Winston really is a lovely lad and so deserves to find his forever home.

To adopt Winston, please complete our adoption application form. We welcome applications from across Lancashire but unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from further afield. Homeless Hounds cannot rehome dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Home check and adoption donation applies.
